Digital Leadership Programme (Level 6) – the core qualification focus of the two year course is the brand-new Digital Leadership Programme qualification, awarded at Level 6 (degree equivalent).

Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing (Level 6)
Chartered Institute of Marketing

Students are able to apply their studies to real-world projects that they are carrying out at work. Where suitable projects are not available, industry projects from leading brands will be provided. Students also have the flexibility to start their own projects that can be developed in new product or service offerings for their employers.

Structure of study

The digital Leadership Programme is very much focussed on ‘active learning’ and students will learn in a wide variety of ways. This includes all of the following:

  • Interactive lectures in our custom-built facility.
  • Group ‘hands-on’ learning in our iMac equipped media studio.
  • Group exercises and tasks using the many work-spaces available in the facility.
  • Guided media production using the podcast and video studio.
  • Online learning using interactive elearning, live video streaming, podcasts and video library.
  • Guest speakers including business leaders, subject matter experts and industry practitioners.

Assessment & projects

The Digital Leadership Programme’s commitment to active learning also means that we don’t think that exams are a good indication of learning. Students are accessed based on project work and assignments, either based directly on real-world projects or on assignments created to simulate real-world scenarios as closely as possible.

Entry requirements

The Digital Leadership Programme entry requirements are not based on qualifications, but rather on aptitude and attitude. Each applicant to the apprenticeship course is accessed on a case by case basis.

The Digital Leadership Programme Part-time (in work) costs £4625 per year of study, and it is eligible for student finance (subject to eligibility).

For those not eligible for student finance, the fees can be paid in the following ways:
1 annual payment of £4625.
4 quarterly payments of £1166 in September, December, March and June.
12 monthly payments of £395.

Students are expected to provide their own laptop device to use throughout their studies.
